Launching The StemCare Insurance: The Unique Insurance (can be used here or below)

Before knowing the need for StemCare Insurance and its benefits, let us understand how stem cell treatments are generally undertaken and what most people think about it. Stem Cell banking has become a well-known term among most people and there is a spike in demand for it since the past few years.

However, most people are unsure if the stem cells preserved at cryo temperatures for years together will still be equally great in quality and rich in concentration. Even the Stem Cell Banks do not offer the guarantee of stem cells’ effectiveness.

On top of that, it incurs huge investment for those who store their umbilical cord cells at the time of birth. Our market research says for Stem Cell Banking, the charges are anywhere on an average of INR 40,000 + yearly fee. In addition to that, extra charges to culture those cells and use them for the designated purpose at a later point in life.

Drawbacks:

  • Lack of assurance of the quality of the stem cells
  • Cryopreserved.
  • Artificial or Animal serum based agents are added.
  • No end goal.
  • Huge costs incurred in storage of stem cells
  • Probability of the stem cells not being useful due to insufficient concentration

How does StemCare work:

Firstly, you should understand that the StemCare insurance is not a financial insurance but is a unique one of its own biological insurance that offers culturing of stem cells without any extra charges^ when you need it!

  1. New born baby is registered with Stemcelline by paying a one-time premium*
  2. StemCelline’s StemCare confirmation email is sent to you
  3. Cultured stem cells are provided to you
  4. Treatment successful

*Premium can be paid in EMIs as well, as per the plan chosen. Premium amount varies from plan to plan. Please refer to our pricing section for detailed information on Pricing. The plan becomes active after 5 years from the date of premium paid as it is not medically recommended to perform any stem cell treatments until the age of 5. Premium covers only the cost of cell culture.

Process explained…

StemCare Insurance can be taken at the time of birth of the child by choosing any one plan that we offer. We have three plans – Neoprotection Plan, Silver Jubilee Active Health Plan & Diamond Health Plan.

Once a plan is chosen, membership is created and an email is sent to your registered email address with all the details such as membership ID.

Now, let’s say at some point in your life, you realize you have some genetic disease or any condition that is not curable by traditional medical procedures. This is when StemCare comes to your aid. All you have to do is, just ring up Stemcelline and produce your registration ID that you received through email. We will get in touch with you and your doctor, view your case closely and then decide to proceed. If the Stem Cells required are autologous, we perform a minor surgery to extract Stem Cells from your own body^. And if you need allogeneic, we culture them and provide it to our designated centres.

For quality assurance purposes, we provide you with the International Flow Cytometry Certification that clearly mentions the quality concentration of the Stem Cells provided.

^The cost of minor surgery for collection of Stem Cells for Autologous stem cells is not covered under StemCare and is to be borne by the patient.
